Obviously there is Plan 9 and Inferno, but they are Unix and Unix is not the goal. Neither are they good enough for practical use. But then there's FreeBSD.

Well the point is that you people dislike Unix and anything Unix is not the goal. Something lisp based is. But none of those lisp based OS's are good for practical use (and that includes those more esoteric and ``respectable'' Unix OS's (plan 9, etc) ). But then there's FreeBSD, superior to OpenBSD and the best practical operating system for a person interested in computing and not just computing but quality computing and who is in the ``know'' (you).
