You will piss a load of people off with this question. I'm not black, but I would be offended by this. Hip-Hop is not primitive. That is such a derogetory term for it. Hip-Hop was formed from black movements in America such as Civil Rights and Black Power. The genre helped forge a new identity for black people so don't disregard it or look down on it. Also, using the term 'a black' is offensive and just because someone likes Hip-Hop, doesn't mean they don't like other music. I like Hip-Hop but also Dance, Electronic, Pop and loads of other genres. Also, not all black people like Hip-Hop. You say they do but they just invented it. Now it is listened to all over the world, by people of different ethnicities and people from different countries, ages, social status etc. Don't be so quick to judge; i'm a white british teenager and i love hip-hop.
