Why don't people talk(post) like this anymore? Not just here but also in the imageboards and forums. I mean there's a difference but I don't know how to describe it.

The internet is no longer a place to be easygoing, it's more about being uppity and irritable now.

I have to agree but this is not true everywhere
for example in 4chan this is just high while in /guess/ it is higher but this is not as true in reddit or in stackoverflow (it is still true but happens less)

The difference is that people used to go on the Internet and talk to others like they would talk to other people in real life. Manners, etiquette and the need of contributing what they could. Now everyone is trying their hardest to follow some fabricated social guidelines and gain as much attention as possible.

Before some retard jumps out with the usual nostalgia goggles argument, you can't deny the old Internet denizens used to take it easy. Sadly it's now about being on your toes because reddit-kun will accuse of you adhomiprojectionfallacy, imageboard-kun will ignore your post and reply back with a repetitive phrase, tumblr-kun won't let you make the most innocent remark because of hurt feelings and the Internet is now filled with 12 year olds and people who buy a Mac to browse Facebook.

Lately I've noticed a disturbing pattern: Back then, nobody would swear as much as we do now.
