>>3Decided to Google that phrase and look what came up...
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1041717Of all the things they could be improving they choose to spend their efforts
messing around with inane icons!?
More Googling reveals that it's part of this:
https://blog.mozilla.org/blog/tag/maker-party/https://blog.mozilla.org/blog/2013/06/30/webmakernext/Their idea about encouraging people to make webpages by viewing source for existing ones and copying them sounds promising, except for one little detail: that's exactly what users have been doing for the ~2 decades since the first browsers came out. All they've done is wrapped it in their own ("proprietary", even) tools, hiding things under another layer of complexity, so that these "makers" are still not understanding the truth about what HTML is. What happened to "open a text editor and a browser and start writing HTML, saving and refreshing the browser"?
Mozilla has gone
appshit!
>>11"Firefox is a great operating system, all it's missing is a decent web browser"? No... it's pathetic even for an OS.
I wish I had more time to spend on my browser project...
