Why is there no discussion about PHP in /prog/? It is without doubt the best programming language for web related tasks. It is also the most used language in the world.

So what are your thoughts on PHP?

I'm assuming you mean a spoken language (on account of the Latin posted.)

If you learn a language, it gets easier to learn more languages. Furthermore, if you learn a language from a particularly family, it's easier to learn another language in the same family. It's not hard to learn two romance languages or germanic languages if you already know one. Lastly, if programming is your aptitude, language learning might come natural to you, since programming has aspects in common with spoken language. (Syntax, rules, etc.)

If you're referring to PHP, however, shame on thee.
