Feminist Frequency

If you haven’t watch Feminist Frequency you should. Depending on your background it might be a hard message to hear but trust me, if you listen with an open mind I think you’ll get something out of it. I know I did.

Just to be clear. None of this is about specific games. It’s about the total of games. You can generally find some exceptions to whatever is brought up in these videos. That’s doesn’t invalidate the point that the vast majority fit the description.

Thinking about it even Locoroco is guilty of the Ms. Male Character issue. There are 6 types of Locoroco, 5 male, 1 female, who’s only special characteristic is she’s pink.

I don’t think I really considered these issues before and I’m happy they’ve been pointed out. Hopefully when I make another game the team and I will be more conscience of these issues and do a better job.
