. Now that's an anachronism. When's the last time you've ever actually made a call to a remote server? I gave up dialup, like, two years ago, when I couldn't get the WinModem configured on my new machine. I really disliked that modem manufacturers did that. They saved a few pennies by off-loading processing to the CPU, but they never released drivers for anything by Windows. But I did like Window's dialup connection more. I loved listening to the modem sounds as it dialed. So cool.
