Farewell cruel world

I have found a way to get to Gensokyo, so I am leaving this place. When I have arrived, I'll send word on how I accomplished this feat for those who wish to follow me. Good bye.

Is it the same way as path to Wired?

I heard there's a similar way to get to the Wired.

As for reaching Gensokyo, I made it, but I got eaten by a forest yokai! Now I'm a ghost. It's hard transcoding video when you're ghost and stuck around Misty Lake, but I did my best!

toy OS struggling to render Doom at full framerate
awesome

I assumed the jumpiness was an artifact of the screen recorder. And even still, yes, it would still be fucking awesome even if it was that jumpy.

Doom is capable of thousands of FPS.
http://doom.wikia.com/wiki/Uncapped_framerate
Its even capable of being played on a 286

Oh oh, I know this one! What is MS-DOS? In 1994.

GNU-DOS isn't that fast either.
The problem is scheduler isn't desktop oriented(high latency).

Yes, it was ffmpeg being slow, I need to figure out better encoding settings, plus I was running LAME for the audio, which had higher process priority. Probably just dump raw audio next time. The game was running at full frame rate. I'm running this on my toy Kaveria A10 7850k micro ITX box.

This is what Touhou should have been from the beginning. This looks more fun than the usual danmaku format.

Name: Anonymous 2015-05-03 23:16

I want to watch 2hu killing doom monsters.

see the touhou GTA thread in /lounge/ then

I've been going to Gensokyo every year for Touhou OpenWorld.

No.

You could set the rate to 30 fps and increase the bitrate accordingly. I bet 2500 kb/s would work nicely.

Who would win? Touhou or Ghouls?

Entropy. It always wins.

Thank you for introducing me to the excellent suckless.org window manager and browser.

Its a miracle that good people continue to post good content amidst this constant shitstorm of meme/b/ro imbeciles and teenagers.

This is now a doom thread. Play Ghoul's Forest if you have not already.

I'm not sure I still want to go to Gensokyo if you get attacked randomly like that.
I just want to go for the magic and pretty girls.

That being said where can I find the portal?

You can't. It made me quite angry. Firstly because I did not see that transportation when I was glancing over the documentation, and had to use graphics instead. Secondly, you are defining japan too much, and not using kawaii and baka enough. This is Japan, and that is the defining feature. Use it more. I also dislike your usage of abominations like little girls. I oppose those on the personal obligation that they are ugly and gross, so I will not hold it against you. I also take issue with your method of deciding a trip. The rule cannot easily be changed in your version, and the question is at the mercy of a cryptic series of /prog/ posts. Also, I find the ease of which you avoid touhou to be gaulling. It is clear that you did not suffer through the laggy, annoying, unpredictable PC-98 to compose your mood that forces such things on you, and I resent that you took the easy way out. Additionally, I find the idea that consorting with frilly dresses in Gensokyo to be dangerous heresy. Finally, I do not think, and shudder at the thought, that >>2 is any version or derivative work of mine. It would take hours to rework >>8 into what you have presented; I know this because I spent almost an hour collapsing everything into such annoyingly recursive statements myself. I suspect that you merely started anew and wrote a post that achieved a similar output. I do not like the fact that you are now trying to ride my coat tails, so to speak, by speaking with such familiarity.

That said, >>2 is a well done post, if a harsh indictment to the harsh indictment I was giving Gensokyo in >>1.

You're welcome. I kind of knew about suckless for a while because of cat-v, 9fans and uriel, but I never really bothered to start using any of it until a few weeks ago myself when sbase started to get shilled.

I just submitted another patch for st to make it suck even less!
