THREE BILLION DEVICES RUN JAVA

On the splash screen while the JDK is installing, it claims that three billion devices run Java, and lists parking meters are one type of device that runs it. I mean, Oracle has got to be fucking with me, right? Why the fuck would a parking meter need to run Java? Are we really such a decadent society that we would rather pay to have the entire JVM ported to whatever hardware is installed in a fucking parking meter than just hire an embedded systems programmer? Absolutely disgusting.

But still, how many parking meters run Lisp?
