That's what Cudder has been doing for years. Promise something great, keep talking about it for as long as possible posting his ideas, when people start to see he's not going to deliver he posts some snippets of code to keep interest up again, then say he won't post the whole thing because it's messy and he wants to clean it up before doing so. Then he just keeps going and going with all the talk... That's how it was with the decompiler and that's how it is with his browser. He will never finish a single project.
Consider that everyone would want to use such analysis tech to make their software more bug-free and "safer". On the other hand, this also means more effective DRM systems and other user-oppressing "security". We do not want that to happen.
Cracking groups do not release their tools for the same reason.
You're seriously pulling the "macro effects" card now? You're just a vain faggot or haven't actually made jack fucking shit so far. You're an asshole either way, however.

>>15 AFAIK, the decompiler of IDA was written in a single year by a single undergraduate student. Are you implying Cudder can't make a something even a student can do in his spare time?
Cudder is not a little girl anymore, she is a young lady.

>>1 Anyone have any idea if Cudder's decompiler is supposed to support the Win16 NE (New Executable) format? Pretty much all of the decompilation and disassembly tools for Windows I've seen only support the Win32 PE (Portable Executable) format.
Seriously, dude, if you can do it then there are probably a few other minds who can do it too. They most likely also keep it to themselves. Most likely cracking groups, security researchers and big corporations/nsa are the guys who have fucking excellent reverse engineering toolsets.
So how about you tip the motherfucking scale by releasing it under an open-source license?
>>38 My amazing browser is far in development and it's hyper-fast!!! But I won't release it until it passes Acid2. And even then I won't release it because I need to clean up the source code. Oh, and I'm too busy with real work, so I can't work on the browser too much.
E.T.A = 40 years Maybe it takes a little longer, I can't promise lol
