Today I have to find out if any bank in my diurnal neighborhood has a vault with safe deposit boxes. If Hadu and I get married and she puts up $10,000 towards our marital bliss, I cannot legally accept the money, because people could say I sold myself and a Green Card for $10K, and I could end up on an extended vacation at Club Fed.

I met Hadu Phonesas (a rather Lesbian codename, but aptly so and in the most original sense of Lesbiology) in the midsummer of 2015 at the Coffeeshop of Saint James. Hadu told me that she was majoring in a field of computer science that I remarked was related to my own chosen field of artificial intelligence (AI). I showed Hadu a card with my name on it and I told her that I write Amazon Kindle e-books about AI. Usually no one ever looks up these books, but Hadu did, as I found out when I ran into her again and she said that she was going away for a month to spend time with her parents at an exotic foreign location.

I then realized that Hadu was not really interested in her technology major, but was rather interested in finding a high-value American marriage candidate so that she could escape from the God-awful hellhole of her native city. It is further possible that I am the first candidate that Hadu has actually snagged, and she is not happy about it. I had noticed pretty little Hadu about seven times before she and I fell into conversation, and so I was rather shocked when she looked care-worn and bedraggled the next two times when she flitted by after the day of our first "Allocutio." Are you new here?

Thanks for the obvious remark and welcome to /prog/. Enjoy your stay.

Crossboarders from /jp/? Isn't Abelson Stole The Precious Course ~6 years old? How long have you been here? You can't even quote properly.

Is this how /prog/ actually feels? As primarily a /jp/er who also programs I always considered /prog/ our sister board from many years ago...

I am primarily a /prog/er who also Touhous and I always thought /jp/ was the only acceptable imageboard. >>8-kun is very likely some retard from /g/.

I'm primarily a VIPPER, and I always considered LISP threads the sisters of JEWS threads

Name: Anonymous 2015-09-10 15:43

/prog/ is /jp/ culture though.

no, it is not.

As a crossboarders your opinion doesn't count.

Name: Anonymous 2015-09-10 17:50

/jp/ is /prog/ culture. We invented shitposting and taking it easy, so we deserve all the credit.

It's not a opinion, it's a fact.

As a crossboarders
lol, the irony

I know /jp/ likes to argue about this kind of thing, but I thought we were above it. Can't we just take it easy?

Name: Anonymous 2015-09-10 18:44

/jp/ knows (and hates) Cudder too.

I'm sorry, I missed that piece of board culture until now. I'll be more careful in the future.

VIP -> /prog/ -> /jp/

They're all linked, and funnily enough /g/ doesn't belong here at all.

Average /jp/ nerd knows more about programming and technology than the average /g/ user.

GNU/Install GNU/Gentoo.
Lets post our desktops for absolutely no reason to make a worthless boring circle jerk thread!
Let's jerk off to incredibly expensive headphones that we get our parents to buy us for christmas!

It's not hard to know more than a /g/tard.
Most of them don't even know a single programming language and get all their tech knowledge from other equally clueless /g/ users.

Name: Anonymous 2015-09-11 0:38

Well, /prog/ was pretty much text-mode /jp/.
Or was it the other way around?

Name: Anonymous 2015-09-11 0:43

I just went to /jp/ and they're in deplorable state. Meme spouting retards everywhere, most content is kept in ``general threads'' and /a/b/v/ culture is spread all over the place. Feels like your little sister got into drugs and promiscuity.

Name: Anonymous 2015-09-11 0:50

I only check the catalog now sometimes. /jp/ is fucking dead.
8ch's /jp/ is decent enough, at least.
