Used to work for boeing and microsoft. Wrote a C compiler. Currently a NEET due to mental illness. How do I come up with ideas for personal projects? Do you have any?
How can you not come up with idea projects? I have so many I couldn't hope to finish them all if I was a 24/7 NEET. It makes me stressed to know that I can't handle all of these projects.

>>6 That's true. I remember when I was a NEET for a few years I did nothing for most of the day and had problems with motivation. I've been more efficient with my free time since I've gotten a job. I still wish I was a NEET though.

What kind of cruel god makes it so comfortable to sit around doing nothing and then banishes us to a reality where we are required to work?

My personal project or hobby is making artificial Minds:
I used to fuck around with Lisp and do cool, fun shit. Now I get high and make apps to try and hit it big so I never have to go to work again. I want to start a company, make a lot of money, raise an army with it, conquer the entire world. I would have the technology for cloning and mind uploading created, and let all my non-black loyal subjects upload their minds so they could be effectively immortal, because they would get resurrected if they died. I would expand the Empire of Earth outward to infinity, destroying all alien civilizations that might exist and be ruler of the entire universe. But I'm just a burned out loser who smokes too much weed and can't do any of those things or even keep a girlfriend. So much shame.

Programs that draw pictures.
Draw a circle
There is the obvious way with a single line tracing a circle, but now do one where multiple lines starting at random points on the circumference trace the circle simultaneously without overwriting each other.
Then draw other sorts of pictures.

Dig up your ideas list from when you were working and didn't have time for personal projects.
