Make architypes of programmers ITT:

The elitist:
* Loves plan9 and constantly reminds people that plan9 has a better way of doing this
* Uses a minimal window manager, 80% of his programs are terminal based
* Spends all day on IRC telling people to google it and triggering the bot to feed them factoids like a prepared explanation of the XY problem
* hosts his own web site but it's just a <html>nothing here</html> or a single image with no links
* "clowns" people on twitter and links it in his personal IRC community

The Schemer:
* Pollutes Haskell discussions on /prog/rider with his ebin "d34d d0ge much function so pattern" maymay
* Still using MIT-Scheme from the DOS prompt
* Complains that R4RS is bloated because he implemented R3RS two decades ago before his brain turned to mush
* Is exclusively sexually attracted to prepubescent children and has been arrested several times for possession of child pornography
* Claims that his Scheme implementation can use C libraries so he doesn't have to write anything more than the bare minimum, but never makes a foreign function interface
* Spends most of his welfare money on research chemicals from China because he hates himself and will do anything to escape his life for a few minutes
* Spreads lies about Harold Abelson and his wife Julie because they realized that SICP was obsolete, but it's the only computer science book they ever read
* Chews on the ends of pens and tries to hand them to people
* Cannot grasp the usage of the greenmeme function as a simple statement of observation and so spams more memes asking about quotes
* Crafts his post so that the post doesn't get truncated because he gives a damn what dorks who only view the front page see
