A being is born into a hell as a direct result of his or her accumulated actions (karma) and resides there for a finite period of time until that karma has achieved its full result. Each lifetime in these hells is twenty times the length of the one before it.
Arbuda, the first hell, is a dark, frozen room surrounded by steel walls and continually swept by loud conversations about OOP design patterns by indians outside the room. Inhabitants of this world arise fully grown and abide lifelong naked and alone writing CRUD applications, while the cold raises blisters upon their bodies. The length of life in this hell is said to be the time it would take to make a touhou game, writing one line of code every 100 years.
Nirarbuda, the second hell, its inhabitants are forced to write their CRUD application in PHP. This hell is even colder than Arbuda. There, the blisters burst open, leaving the beings' bodies covered with frozen blood and pus.
Atata, is the "shivering" hell. There, beings forced to debug TempleOS's HolyC code shiver in the cold, making an at-at-at sound with their mouths.
Hahava, is the "lamentation" hell. There, the beings lament debugging HolyC code in the cold, going haa, haa in pain.
Huhuva, the "chattering teeth" hell, is where beings shiver as their teeth chatter while debugging APL code, making the sound hu, hu.
Utpala, is the "blue lotus" hell. The intense cold there makes the skin turn blue like the colour of an utpala waterlily. Inhabitants of this world must fix bugs of overengineered Java enterprise code written by indians.
Padma, the "lotus" hell, is a frozen plain swept by blizzards that cracks open frozen skin, leaving one raw and bloody. There, beings have to fix and reverse engineer the code of Utpala hell to make all kinds of UML diagrams.
Mahapadma is the "great lotus" hell. The entire body cracks into pieces and the internal organs are exposed to the cold, also cracking. Meanwhile the soul of the inhabitants of this world is forced to keep doing every programming torture of the other hells at the same time.
