I found a way to use Scheme at work

Name: Anonymous 2017-01-26 8:14

I needed something that could act as an oracle for some exhaustive unit tests.

Something more complex than bc or awk. Something with bignums, data structures, libraries and clean syntax. Enter Scheme. Whipped up a service with couple dozen lines of C to pipe a Guile repl over TCP/IP, and then rewrote the thousand lines of adhoc unit tests to send/recv shit to Guile into around 200 lines.

Showed it to my boss, and he let me set it up on Windows Subsystem for Linux on Win 10. What have you done to advance the use of Scheme?

An easy way to use Lisp at work is to write the Lisp, and then transpile it to another language. Your codebase will be a giant unreadable behemoth, but at least you'll be able to write Lisp!!!
