CSS is shit. Pages hiding stuff with css or will not render at all(without javascript). "Dynamic pages" which use shitty Js "frameworks" to build the pages as if it was a video game.

This is needed for personalization, for example with making page styles stick on page change.
If you don't hide the page, the page flashes then changes the stylesheet just like it does on this shitty web site.
