How do you keep your anus smelling clean throughout the day?

Hey /prog/! I know this question sounds ridiculous at first but please bare with me!

I was raised by a single father and have two brothers. Never really had much of a female influence in my life to guide me with female hygiene so that's why I am unaware of this stuff. For reference, I am an 18 year old female starting college in just a few weeks. I'm very sexually inexperienced and have only gone as far as making out and some petting.

I'm sorry if this is gross and too much information, but my question is about the smell from the anus. I always make sure to clean myself and wash my anus after I do #2. What worries me though is that after just like an hour, if I touch my anus and check the smell on my finger I can smell feces again.

This is worrying me because the chances of me being intimate with a guy soon are very high. I worry that I might be sitting on a couch, snuggling up, watching a movie with someone and if he puts his hand down my pants and touches my anus, he will likely smell it. That would embarrass me to no end.

Also, I'm worried that if we get completely intimate and he's doing me from behind the smell could either travel up or if he touches me there and smells his finger, he will smell something not great.

I know this is a very weird question but as you can tell, I have no one to really go to. Asking female friends of mine would be way too awkward. I'm not sure if this problem is unique to me.

How do you keep yourself clean so that there are no gross moments during intimate encounters?

Plus, if you're messing around with a guy, and he touches your anus and then proceeds to smell his fingers, that's pretty weird, and you might consider asking him politely to gtfo. :/ Or at least, I would. I don't know though, some people have different fetishes.

Also, if someone is upset with you because your butt smells like a butt, they've got some serious issues.

Your anus is going to smell like shit because shit comes out of there. Get over it. Added to that it probably gets a bit sweaty between your cheeks. It's normal and we all smell the same.

If you're planning sexy time it's polite to have a rinse but if you shower daily it's not really necessary.
He won't be able to smell anything unless he also sticks his finger there and sniffs it, or sticks his nose up your ass. Can you smell anything when you're just sitting about nude? Probably not - no one else will either.
Lastly, any guy lucky enough to be getting some is unlikely to be checking you over and critique'ing every last detail.
