Says every open sores advocate ever. Don't even pretend like it's not true. They would rather use proprietary software than soil their hands using the GPL Virus. Because apparently that's hypocritcal. And to what end? For whom? Who the hell knows.

As long as it provides access to the lastest meh-mehs, what difference does it make?

Holy shit, I'm having serious deja vu. Like, I even wrote down this premonition in a journal:
Post on forums, write two lines; second post uses a hyphenated word that reminds me of the deja vu I had about making this post. Open up journal, find journal entry, make post talking about deja vu divided into three sections.
It actually continues from there, but things start to get really recursive.
I don’t have the time nor the interest to deal with the shitshow that is desktop use of loonix/BSD anymore. Modern laptop hardware built for windows with non-integer scaling ratios assumed means eye strain with just about any DE and strange grandpa size font for terminal based window managers. Another quality of life issue to consider for desktop linux use is the decline of FOSS browsers. Firefox doesn’t support ALSA on linux anymore and chrome is so bloated even de-botnet-ified derivatives are become slow and cumbersome. Don’t forget systemd (which I actually don’t mind itself so long as nothing breaks) and how it drags pulseaudio with it into everything. GnomeOS is not something I want to use.
In conclusion, I do believe backdoor-ridden proprietaryware can be better than linux and make that choice for my personal computing outside of data-sensitive tasks.
>>5 That has nothing to do with >>1's post. If open sores propenents would stop larping and just say what you say, they'd at least be something more than a bunch of slimy hypocrites.
BSD is the license for proper cuckolds. If I'm going to open source my work, I don't want anyone making money from it. Everyone knows what Mac OS X is, but no one has heard of or cares about FreeBSD. Fuck that. You want to use the code I released out of the kindness of my heart--you better do the same with it. BSD allows people to steal from the proverbial collection plate.
>>14 Are you retarded? The dude that made Whatsapp donated a million dollars to FreeBSD development, and they have corporate sponsors for the foundation. It's not a one way relationship.
