So he said he's pushing for better programming education in K12. Too bad functional programming is useless. If he has his way, they'll use a paradigm nobody in the real world cares about. Not exactly hireable. Diss Java or C++ or PHP all you want, but there ARE jobs for them. Haskell? Not so much.

Just like how MIT misled students into thinking it was worth their time to learn a worthless language like Lisp. Imagine going to a highly-respected university only to learn something as useless as Lisp. Haskell is equally useless.
