People in CS who are surprisingly low tech

What's with CS professors who don't understand modern apps, social media, modern OSes, etc. and just talk about the good old days of Unix and C and Lisp (which aren't relevant in the real world)?

You'd think people teaching CS would know a thing or two about computers and smartphones. But no. Sometimes they are in their I'm-already-an-expert-so-I-don't-need-to-learn-new-things mindset.

You'd think astronomers would know more about telescopes.

Computer Science isnt about making money exploiting retards just because thats one lucrative use of it.
