Too much dependencies?

Name: Anonymous 2018-07-09 13:34

Is it just me or does everyone grab a library or some other dependency for the tiniest problem without wondering what the fuck this does to their project?

I heard someone mention most programming now a days is just plumbing between different subsystems.

If that's the case, how come we don't have a global unified library yet that applies to all programming languages and is written in reasonably optimized C++?

how come we don't have ... ?

Because you haven't made it yet.

your observations are correct but not your conclusion

see, too much dependencies are bad, but a single dependency wouldn't solve anything

the human capital must be taken into account

you anglos just want more and more convenience, like you're averse to work, and I shake my head at that

you just want a good master to bow your head to, one that doesn't mistreat you, you dislike being free

that's why "AI god" fairytales and related bullshit are so popular among your people

Don't change these.
