Do people still use RSS, or has Twitter replaced it for notifications of new content?

I don't use either.

I use RSS for everything.

RSS died because it's harder to put commercials and tracking code in the content.

Also people only ever read things that are shared on FB or Twitter or whatever. There's no point in sifting through all the garbage.

I was using it(like >>6) until i noticed its eating my traffic and reducing speed. Having more than 100 subscriptions starts to be detrimental: you can't read everything, and by time you read first batch, there more updates. Its like customized Prolefeed that never ends.
