How does it integrate with Bitcoin? Blockchain is a glorified linked list, why is it so revolutionary?

cryptofags: centralization is bad, we need to decentralize also cryptofags: let's use central crypto exchanges and trust them with all our digital monopoly money, thereby centralizing the currency that was supposed to be decentralized
it's basically just like a bank, except a bank can reverse fraudulent charges, whereas a cryptocurrency exchange cannot

>>9 Legal currency has a defined value and must be accepted by vendors/banks/organizations of a country. You're probably referring to gold standards, which ties the currency to specific amount of gold. Gold itself is tied to its value as jewelry/dentistry material and use in electronics. Gold in abstract sense has no objective inherent value(unlike water which is required for life and inherently valuable), just rarity and permanence(doesn't rust) - people deciding on it as store of value and things like gold teeth make it valuable in specific contexts: if people decided a specific stone is a better store of value, gold would not hold that position of "reserve currency".

>>11 This is true, what the gold standard did was to keep currency inflation in check by tying it to a limited quantity asset. Now there's no limit on the amount of debt that can be issued.
It is not. GIT which was released in 2005 also uses it.

The difference between Gold values: Objective value: rare heavy metal, non-corrosive. No inherent use . Subjective value: can be used in jewelry(if one likes gold jewelry), in dentistry(if one likes gold teeth) and in electronics(copper is actually a better conductor, gold is used due corrosion resistance(and there are alternatives being developed to eliminate use of gold) https://phys.org/news/2010-10-alternative-gold-electrical-applications.html

>>21 Gold prices can't suddenly collapse(unless asteroid mining becomes really cheap) or change, they're fairly stable over time(mining and inflation of fiat currency are counterbalanced) Cryptocoins can collapse in a single hour, major exchange being hacked can ruin a currency or cause a hardfork. There isn't any inherent use for crypto, and unless its using anonymizing networks all transactions are public.

Linked lists are cool they manage memory and money.
Everyone sees the list.
Can only append to it if they give pointers to monies.
semiconductors are not the same as conductors being a better conductor doesn't mean being a better semiconductor you are a fucking idiot
