Alternative operating systems

Has /prague/ messed with any? I'm currently working on resuscitating the copy of TAOS I found a few days back and getting used to it's APIs, so I'm wondering what you do for comparison. Thanks~

I played around with TempleOS (but I treat it more as an outsider religioys art project than a usable OS), ReactOS (I have a lot of respect for the people who keep developing it, but see no reason to use a worse version of Windows in practice; hopefully, it will become better with time) and some Amiga derivatives (interesting, but lack of software kills it). in general, it's fun to try new things but using a weird OS is not practical in the long run
