Programming the Z80

I found a Zilog Z80 on some kind of controller that was in the garbage. Tomorrow, I am going to try and wire up a control panel, and manually step through some intructions.

Well, I connected some LEDs and DIP switches to the data bus, but I couldn't get it to respond to any interrupts, or to reset. At least it powered up properly (didn't pop), and it sends the BUSREQ signal.

I powered the CPU across a current limiting resistor, but it never drew close to the max current, so I wonder if that is unnecessary.

More work is required.

That kit looks cool, but I want to try it myself.

Don't change these.
