So I was trying to shitpost at 4chan, and Google Captcha asked me to pick images with cars. One of images had the reflection of a car in a shop window. Does reflection qualify as a car?
Obviously Google collects the database of labeled car/not-car to train their self-driving AI. Still I'm a bit pessimistic about their manual labeling approach. In fact the whole human assisted AI approach is flawed. Humans get born not knowing what is car (they evolved in a environment without cars), but learn what is car without much assistance.
Don't they understand that their approach is retarded and a dead end? Or they do understand, just pretend it works to get more grant money?
