NO.

- vs code is intuitive
- easy to use
- literally a tool for GODS
- you actually focus on programming instead of spending hours trying to customize your shit
- easily and truly customizable
- modern
- foss
- if you care too much about privacy, just download the vs codium fork

VS code only uses 100 MB, that's nothing, and if you don't like that go back to the 80s and tell someone who cares.

I have been using Emacs for years. I'm afraid I'm switching to VS Code.

At this point all I do is try to make Emacs more like VS Code. I keep adding LSP plugins and other garbage that barely works and constantly crashes. The only reason I kept using Emacs as much was because it can run in a terminal. But I can always just VNC if I need to. Emacs (and vim) seems anachronistic at this point.
