it is much harder to fake a voice, than to fake a text-only account.

Especially when you use actual bots or hire the high school English teacher babushkas to make these fake comments.

I hope Facebook will too demand all messages to be voice or video only, while automatically provide English text for them. Modern AI allows near perfect English language speech recognition.

That way Russian bot development will be closer to passing the Turing Test.

Can Russian do it? Can Russian make strong AI to spam Twitter and Facebook?

Voice is a bit trickier than face synthesis.
I.e. voice timbre wildly changes with emotion and context.
Then voices include a lot of additional subtle information requiring strong AI to synthesize.
There is also background noise information captured from real environment.
