FrozenAnus finally understood that version control is better than wiki for hoasting coad? I thought you'll never learn when you told me that git is too difficult years ago. I wonder what you'll learn next - maybe that indentation actually helps

No. The staff of wikidot just ignored tech support
and their backup function stopped working.
If you actually notice, i use github as a wiki by manually
editing and uploading files.(I only use git diff/clone locally
for special occassion when dealing with other peoples repos).
I never changed my opinion of git itself.
The wikis were also deleted because i decided to not waste
time updating them for 3-10 viewers and wikidot failing software
mentioned above convinced me its not worth the effort, but recently i decided to upload(a filtered version of) that stuff
to github with some new content as github seems like a
great hosting provider due its being relied by many software dependencies.

I use linebreaks as semantic(separating functional blocks), not visual boundaries
(making code look pretty).

The wikis were also deleted because i decided to not waste
time updating them for 3-10 viewers and wikidot failing software
which is why decentralized version control system like git is good and reliance on wiki providers is bad

I use the 'centralized' Github CMS as a wiki provider to store code and infodump content. I rarely use git itself, except that
i aliased diff to "sync&&git diff --patch --patience --diff-filter=M --ignore-all-space --no-index --word-diff=color --color=always -b "

Github will be around for awhile. Even if you hate Microsoft, it
manages projects for decades - unlike Google.

They suppose to break when the line is too large,
but the rendered text breaks randomly. use 'View source' and see there is nothing random about it.
