Why are there 10 snapd processes running on my fresh VPS and why is the snap package 120 MB??????

Does Canonical want to increase the time it takes to setup a new box so you have more time to look at the banner ads?

I don't enable app stores. This is bloatware in its purest form.
If you have snapd running, its likely your "vps" has installed
linux Apps via Snap, which are run each in its own fat sandbox.
Oh, an it depends on systemd.

$ snap list

Command 'snap' not found, but can be installed with:
