AMD has no TSX. Basically, AMD is nearly over. Why would you ever buy AMD, if it misses a key feature?

Yeah, in theory you can emulate PlayStation 3 even on the NES's 6502. After all it is Turing Complete. But you know, modern CPUs, like the Intel one, will give you that "speed bump", which will actually make the simulated processes real time. And you know real time performance is important, since it can sync with the real world events, like the player's input.

I emulate NES on ubuntu with fceux, download super mario bros ROM, always lose on first world.

The programmers are just too lazy to emulate LL/SC in software.

But also, fuck PowerPC for having LL/SC.
