The whole FSF thing is like MLM scheme, except you're not even promised any profit. Imagine going door to door selling crappy Amway products, but without your time being compensated even the slightest.
I agree with Ms Farmand's criticism of capitalism as it is practiced by powerful companies in the US today — plutocracy, extractivism and dooH niboR — but I don't believe in eliminating all capitalism (all private business). Rather, I advocate eliminating the political power of business, and restoring democracy.
*Navalny poisoning forces Merkel's party to ask: how do we hit back at Putin?* Here's a suggestion: switch to renewable energy as fast as possible. It's vitally necessary anyway, and it will eliminate demand for Russia's key exports (fossil fuels).
Russians are threatening the world peace. We do we do?! No! Don't use the superior NATO strength to seize the hydrocarbons from these Mongols! Libyan scenario is not the solution! Instead West must switch to the wind turbines and play hippies music!
It is true that Putin has corrupted and destroyed democracy in Russia and runs a corrupt and repressive regime, but war is not the way to deal with that.

Moscow Police Arrest up to 200 Ahead of Election Protest. Putin openly visits contempt on democracy as an act of intimidation, like what the bully does in the US.
The cheater tried to set up a hotel deal in Latvia with businessmen linked to Putin, and also to corruption. This particular proposed deal was not necessarily wrongdoing on the cheater's part, but the long list of situations where he has been involved with associates of Putin adds up to a pattern of support for a foreign tyrant.

Ok, Ivan.

i am a russian bot. i ahev a ushanka and i generate posts out of a database w/ my preloaded replies. if you dont repost this comment on 10 other pages i will spawn in your thread and make a mess of the original topic
Richard Stallman taught us that - In America "you can get arrested without a reason." - Russian spy "Edward Snowden is a Great Hero" - "publishing of leaked secret [American] information" is journalism, and not spying or sabotage. - It is wrong that "the US government has persecuted Julian Assange for a decade for Wikileaks' journalism." - "US today — plutocracy, extractivism and dooH niboR" - "US government doesn't try to operate fair taxation" - American "democracy is a sham" - "We must defeat [American] plutocracy" - "War is not the way to deal with" the totalitarian regimes. - Pre-teen children can "appear entirely willing." - Writing software unpaid makes you "free as in freedom." - There is nothing wrong with the Red Star GNU/Linux being used in North Korea as the totalitarian surveillance tool tracking any non approved communication. GNU GPL completely approves such use, because it gives their government users "freedom." - "Facebook is surveillance monster." - American corporations are the "enemy of your freedom", despite them creating jobs, quality products and paying taxes. - It is totally okay to work for totalitarian regimes, speak propaganda on RussiaToday and getting paid in bitcoins by Karpeles. - Criticizing Stallman and his cult is a taboo, and will get you banned from all related IRC channels and forums.

>>30 Got banned from the entire Freenode.net, for sending that message to #archlinux-offtopic
>>34 Why lefties can't exist without a totalitarian leader? The entire history of the left is licking the boot: Marx, Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mao, and now Putin.
freenode is centrally managed. Staffers or staff (as IRC operators are called) have the same access across all servers. Some operations that would normally only apply to one server (like K-lines) are propagated across the whole network. Servers are "donated" to the network, rather than "linked".[6] Robert Levin (16 December 1955 – 16 September 2006),[38][39] also known as lilo, was the founder of the freenode IRC network Levin mismanaged funds intended for the OPN, quoting him as writing that they went "to paying bills, to paying the rent, to buying food and necessities."[40]
How come Stallman's followers created the most corrupt and totalitarian IRC network? Maybe because you can't steal all the donations, without grabbing all the control?
>>37 I was about to flame your poast, but then I thought for a sec, and yeah, Putin really isn't quite like the others in that list.

Physical distance between Nikita and me is now only a few hundred kilometers. How long until he escapes from Dutch guards and starts shitting in my vegetable plot?
Quotation (related only because it's from Russell):
"The fundamental argument for freedom of opinion is the doubtfulness of all our belief... when the State intervenes to ensure the indoctrination of some doctrine, it does so because there is no conclusive evidence in favour of that doctrine .. It is clear that thought is not free if the profession of certain opinions make it impossible to make a living."
>>39 Putin could be a better communist than Hitler and Stalin? Is that even possible?

Big corporations sponsor FSF then this is an understandable stance as what I am proposing would hurt their bottom line. Current situation saves them huge amounts of money from spending on R&D because developers all over the world will develop something for free (believing the PR around open source) and then if something catches on, big corporation can use it of appropriate it if you will. Sometimes developers from within those companies feel bad and then ask the corporation if they could contribute something. This is then again is turned into PR piece saying that you see we give back! Best outcome for the original authors is getting hired on mediocre salary at one of those corporations or having a cool entry in CV. I think you are missing the point and my idea does not contradict user freedom as users will continue to use it for free.
>>46 Stalin was a gangster too, doing bank robberies. His nickname, Koba, even references a famous ruffian.

An open letter in support of RMS. Joshua Moon (Kiwi Farms)
Funny how Moon always bitches about the deplatforming of the Russian shills, while I personally got banned from Moon's Kiwi Farms after my first post questioning their affiliation. Why some free speech is more free than other, and they will always ban you for inconvenient questions?
