About six years ago on May 25, 2016 I went to a White House Workshop on AI Law and Policy at the School of Law of the University of Washington, but only after stopping at Bulldog News to buy a copy of The New York Times. One of the speakers mentioned that John Markoff of the New York Times was there in the audience, so during the intermission I an be seen in the video

Then, holding my opy of the NYT, I walk up an aisle to where John Markoff is talking with a white-haired gentleman whom I do not recognize. On and on the fellow kept bending Markoff's ear and keeping me from speaking with the NYT columnist who in 1993 gave me first notice of the existence of the World Wide Web.
