How do I become an internet cowboy?

So basically, I want to be a greyhat invetigative independent cyberspace detective, serving justice in the digital world and riding my virtual horse through the endless depths of the internet. How do I become this person?
Things I am already working on:

• CTF/wargame skills
• opsec
• leading intellectual debates with online schizos

What else can I do? Does anyone want to join me in my internet cowboy journey or do you think it would be better to more of a lone wolf, or 'sigma male' as fellow intellectuals like to call it?
