>>1What is your opinion on Russia?
The Ukraine should be part of Russia, but not at the cost of bloodshed.
As we transit now from a human-run world to a robot-run world, the wrenching changes are not a pretty sight. Every day I read the national print edition of the New York Times, and the news is not only all bad for the most part, but getting worse and worse -- shockingly worse. Yesterday the NYT reported that all across Europe energy prices are doubling and tripling and making it impossible for proprietors to run a business.
As a half-Slavonic person (1/4th Polish and 1/4th Czech) Mentifex here feels kinship with Russians and has written an AI Mind at
http://ai.neocities.org/Dushka.html that thinks and reasons in Russian. It is painful to see Russia suffer under a megalomaniac like Putin.
The Americans should sign a binding document as a guarantee that the Ukraine will never become a member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) as a way of acknowledging that the Ukraine is simply the "edge" of Russia, as the very name Ukraine means in Russian.
