Teaching programming to people who don't know English

Could just have a language configuration file that renames most reserved words to a different language and leave the rest of the software (interpreter/compiler) intact.

Would be nice C in Portuguese.

struct -> estrutura
if -> se
else -> senão
while -> enquanto
until -> até

etc

He could have meant that mastery of language is important for being a good programmer and that no one masters a language so well as does his native language.
