What can replace abs()

I need something to divide my basis vector with
Like abs() but more mathemathical.

fabs

glutes()

cope(S_HARDER,m_nigger)

abs(x) gives the absolute value of x
it's aka |x|

|x| = { x, if x>=0 ; -x, if x<0 }

Forgot to say, it's |.|:R->R.

Now I would have to say that abs is plenty mathematical.
