The "NoFun" rule.
In the past, liberals and left-wingers were opposed to right-wing conservative "NoFun" regime(think 1950-1970) and felt the urge to rebel over oppressive conservatives.
Now the left is in power(1970+) and all its rules, political correctness and authoritarianism are seen as establishment, while right-wing (especially libertarians) are seen as fighting against "NoFun" regime(forced femininism, PC culture, media bias, censorship).
