Why Russia is a Piece of Shit

Enrolling into Russian University requires completing 11 years of school education, passing all the useless humanities exams, like reading Pushkin and Dostoevsky.

To enroll into American Uni, like MIT, it is enough to pass SAT, which you can learn on your own, outside of school

Alas I cant get into American University, because you need to be a citizen to get education credit, otherwise it would cost $144000, which is a fortune in Russia, where human life costs less than a $500.

Dear Americans, please bomb Russia, till it changes college admission rules to be more liberal

Yes. 12. But you can pass SAT, without visiting school at all, whilst in Russia failing final exams or dropping out is equivalent to death sentence. And you can just do final exams, without visiting school for 11 years.

In Russia you need a diploma to get a programming or other engineering job. It is of no difference, what kind of diploma you hold (even if it is some history or psychology diploma), because it serves just to prove, that you can finish something under stressful conditions of a uni.
