internet tries to own all the content that you contribute. Youtube videos submitted by users must be viewed using youtube's flash player. I would be able to think of more examples if I used more of this kind of the internet. In the interest of a free internet, and in the interest of providing free access to your user created content, choose a publisher that doesn't restrict the enjoyment of your contribution. Allow the user to download your content and view it on their local machine. When you submit a video to youtube, in order for viewers to comply with the user license aggreement, they must access the youtube website to view your video every time they wish to see it. In addition to their activity being tracked, they may also have to watch advertisements to watch content that was provided to youtube for free, by you. If your viewers will see advertisements, you should at least get some compensation for it. So don't use youtube. Find a website that provides a download button and doesn't require complicated javascript intended for tracking. Have respect for your potential viewers. Host your content yourself or let your viewers help you by using bittorent.

Every once in a while, I come across posts like this one that seems like it was made with a Markov chain because it just doesn't parse.

This one comes close to not parsing.

Now I'm not saying you're a Markov chain, >>1, I'm saying you suck at English.

Also, keep it /prog/ related.

man, I took time out of my busy day to post on this dead board, and this is how you respond? By complaining about my english? You would rather have nothing and spam than >>1? I'm not saying >>1 is the most interesting thing to read ever, and I could have put more effort into composing it, but really? You respond to that with >>2,3? Not about some distributed data share powered by node.jizz with p2p javascript flash plugins that fetches videos from bittorent on demand and hosts them in the browser using html 5 and groovy? I'm going to take a break from /prog/ for a while. I'm not really getting much out of this at this point.

>>3 was spam. I just didn't delete it because I thought it was funny.

to get content creators to turn away from YT, a decentralized ad-network is needed.

I'm saying you suck at English.
