I'm sick of being alone, why can't I find friends or just nice people who won't be horrible to me anywhere?

I want to share things I code and collab and learn together but it's like I'm too different somehow that just no one ever likes me or wants to be around me.

Lack of community is a bitch. It's an environmental situation. I would fit the above description with high probability as I have already known you through /prog/ for a long time and I also try to not be horrible to people in general because people who are horrible to others are horrible. Keep trying though. There's another misfit located somewhere that may be geographically near that is in the same situation. Believe it or not. They are out there but hiding.

I've applied to a programming job (faking a university educationa), and they were just usual people, with families or girlfriends. In part I think they fired me in the end, because I wasn't one of them, and not because I failed to do the job on time (which was impossible anyway).
