The whole idea of suckless is to make software that's easy for a new programmer to pickup and fully comprehend within a few hours or less. A few thousands lines at most for a single program, and hopefully far far less.

No more millions of lines of code to add features for non-technical users. No more bloat that doesn't actually contribute to the functioning of the program.

Then write a new "simple" OS that isn't a *nix. Stop writing the same 30 line programs that have been written 31 times already. Stop pretending your version is better because you used the same variable names as Rob Pike.
