My comments were in English and I refused to comment in russian (I have strong despise for that inferior language and cyrillic alphabet), so my russian boss has fired me. Did anyone had similar experience, getting bullied because of commenting practices?

>>17,18 It should be straightforward to see what the code is doing (i.e. how it works). What isn't always straightforward is the rationale why a particular system is like that. High level system documentation can explain a high level overview of why a system works that way. However, this won't explain why certain specific techniques were used in the code - these kinds of rationale should be documented within the source code.
