Why do people look down on web developers?

I'm a web developer and I'm annoyed at how people who primarily do desktop development think they're better than me. I know shit like C++ and Java too, you know.

There is literally nothing wrong with being a web developer.

Not again with this shit, don't come with the "boohoo us corporations have it like so hard??" like the company you're working for has no money to make a decent product. Everyone who spews this bullshit excuse is just a kike trying to cut corners somewhere.
