If I had to choose between dropping VS for emacs or getting fucked in the ass, I'm choosing the latter 100% of the time. Are things different in Javaland, where there are two competing IDEs, one made by inbred midgets, and the other by stackOverflow pajeets?

emacs is just as bloated if not more so, it is an IDE.

All you need is a text editor and a terminal.
