Node js is based

Literally I finished the job in one day using node and electron and the result is a modern, cross-platform app. C++ boomers BTFO.

I learned node by being thrown into a MEAN stack project that the other guy had been writing as his first project. He got addicted to cocaine and went off the rails with booze halfway through. My words what a spaghetti fucking mess that was. Orphaned functions, typoes in variables...truly a baptism of fire.

In the end I ended up quite liking it, but it's no bash shell.

I'm sure it was relatively straightforward for you to emulate his programming mindset given your own cocaine and booze addiction.

L33tUK is a boomer.

He's the only tripfag that brings a smile to my face when I see he wrote something.

Array.from (document.getElementsByClassName ("trip")).forEach (e => { e.parentNode.parentNode.children [1].innerHTML = "I am a child seeking attention."; })

This makes a lot of sense and there's little difference to ``native" apps which nowadays also are slow as fuck and also written in a managed language. Difference is when you use electron it looks sexy and is cross-platform. Also the juniors, women, designers, poc can work on the app. Also the dev experience is great with very fast iterations.

"sexy" and "cross-platform", but in return it's extremely bloated.
The size of a 'hello world' executable file is 60MB. What sick fucking joke is this?

A fun one. We're all laughing but you're being a square.

A big file size means the team worked hard and working hard is good.

Earth to Alpha Centauri: There are some very clever units among these Earthlings.

Don't change these.
