>>8protect Americans from illegal immigration
I do not personally consider illegal immigration to be a high priority.
fight islamic terrorism.
His foreign policy seems to be basically "stop funding terrorists" and "restrict Islamic immigration", neither of which is going to do much to destroy groups like ISIS. Trump's attitude towards ISIS seems to basically be "ignore it and it will go away", but really the only way to defeat them is to take the war to them. We've already seen ISIS attacks on our soil, that means ISIS is winning and we're on the defensive. We're not winning until ISIS is being attacked on their own soil and THEY'RE the ones that are fearing for their lives, not us. Restricting Islamic immigration will make it harder for ISIS to carry out attacks, however by itself it will not stop attacks completely, and will likely end up hurting the victims of ISIS more than ISIS. It certainly won't actually present an existential threat to ISIS, like fighting them in their own territories will. Complete destruction of ISIS is really the only acceptable option at this point - they're far more extreme even than Al-Qaeda, and have basically zero chance of being reformed into something acceptable.
hence they will vote for the asshat just because she happens to be a woman.
Most Hillary supporters aren't voting for Hillary because she's a woman, but because she's not Trump.
>>9Which means that he's not corrupt like all the establishment.
Justin Bieber has zero experience in government too, but I don't see anyone saying he would make a good president.
He wants to introduce term limits for politicians and fight lobbying.
Term limits are a bad idea, most politicians are mediocre if not outright evil, and so would end up getting voted out after one term anyway. Term limits only hurt the good politicians, by making sure they can't stay in office long enough to accomplish anything. I do agree that we should fight lobbying though.
As for mindless populism, it's better than intelligent pro-establishment policies that hurt the people.
Populism hurts the people too, specifically those who aren't in the majority. You know the saying "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch."? That's basically what populism is.
If not wanting being blown up by Muslims or being unemployed because of illegal immigrants is a "simian primitive emotion", then you are spot-on.
It is, because you're focusing on spectacle rather than statistics. Being killed by an asteroid is about as likely as being killed by Islamic terrorism.
They're either paid to lie (like the "experts" on Brexit were) or ignorant ivory-tower Gutmensch.
This is an excellent demostration for the collective delusion held by Trump and his supporters. They're unable to comprehend that anyone could disagree with them without being a paid shill or having a poor understanding of reality.
Meanwhile they also spread bullshit like "global warming" and "discriminated minorities"
Both of those things objectively exist. They may be somewhat exaggerated by the media, but the media makes its money by attracting an audience, not by being 100% objective. Saying that because the media exaggerates these things, they must be 100% false, is equivalent to arguing that since there is no evidence of lampshades being made from the skin of dead Jews, the Holocaust must not have happened.
while suppressing reports about immigrant crime.
The media is understandably reluctant to make a big deal out of it, because it is clearly a touchy subject. The alt-right tabloids are however fully willing to fill in those blanks in the mainstream media report.
Donald is the one with the better grasp on facts.
Are you kidding? He struggles to make factual statements about
himself, never mind the outside world.
So on some level you love your own country?
Another classic strategy of the Trump alt-right propaganda machine: claim that anyone who disagrees with you is unamerican. This of course goes back to McCarthyism and the Red Scare, and completely ignores that Trump himself is opposed to freedom of speech, one of the most fundamental American values.
Oh and all the government's agents have been arming themselves to the teeth under Obama, so the "fascism meme" will be back alright, just not under Trump.
Fascism is not just "the government having power" (which is the whole point of government, a government without power is utterly useless). Fascism refers specifically to totalitarian nationalism.
>>11Genetics are only a small part of "intelligence". Let a German or English person who's spent their whole life living in the woods take an IQ test, and see if they can manage to even get 100. If intelligence really was innate, why even bother with school? And its schools where America is really behind compared to other developed countries. Genetics really only gives you
potential, if you don't do anything to take advantage of that potential, you might as well not have that potential in the first place.
